It has to be the correct weight, size and fit your ears. Last but not least sound correct to you I mean after all you will be the one using it not everyone else. One of the best investments is purchasing a Littman stethoscope. There is a variety of Littman stethoscopes on the market so it's best to test a few and see which one fits you .Next, Get it ENGRAVED The last thing you want is for someone to accidentally walk off with your stethoscope.
What will this investment give you in the long run? I'll tell you A long lasting, accurate piece of equipment that you can count on for years to come. How would it make you feel if you were charting inaccurate BP's simply because your stethoscope was enabling you to hear correctly?? There are many companies that review and compare stethoscopes within a given price range... All you have to do is pick a budget and find the best offer. Now remember price is not the most important factor when shopping for a new stethoscope. Just because it cost more doesn't mean it's of better quality. Look for a combination of an affordable price and quality and you can never go wrong. Littman stethoscopes offer the best acoustics which help diagnose illness with minimal mistakes (if any)...
